Steward's Report
Sally Supreme was quick to begin. Free Falling was slow to begin.
Sally Supreme turned its head to the inside and visibly eased in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Gavin Clifton regarding Sally Supreme’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sally Supreme was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Clifton reserved his right to enter a plea to the charge. Sally Supreme was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Mr Shane Drummond was reminded of his responsibilities for failing to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Inner Rush, pursuant to GAR 105.
