Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Crusoe Pearl.
Aston Tulip was slow to begin.
Aston Tulip (uncompetitive in the event), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Andrew Symons regarding Aston Tulip’s performance and racing manners in this event. After hearing submissions from Mr Symons, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Aston Tulip unsatisfactory. Aston Tulip must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
