Steward's Report
Gabriella Maree, Tammy and Nanna's Blue Boy were quick to begin.
Tammy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr David Mckenzie regarding the behaviour of Tammy in pulling up before the return gate and not entering the catching pen. The Stewards hold concerns that this poses an unnecessary safety issue for Tammy, for other greyhounds in the race and staff that triage these types of incidents. Mr Mckenzie was reminded that further such instances of this nature may result in Tammy being placed on a conditional satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 129.
