Steward's Report
This event was delayed approximately three minutes due to a power outage.
Buck Hunter was quick to begin. Go Gigi Go was slow to begin.
Buck Hunter underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported the greyhound sustained a carpal sprain to the left foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. A. Debattista, regarding the racing manners of Buck Hunter in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Debattista, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to the connections.
A post–race sample was taken from Buck Hunter – the winner of the event.
