General meeting comments:
Trainer Mr. Patrick Furci presented the greyhound Scott Monster to Stewards after being ordered to do so at the Ballarat race meeting on Friday, 28 April 2023. The greyhound underwent an examination by the On-Track Veterinarian and was found to have no apparent injury.

Angus Anchovy and Purified were quick to begin. Our Kite Flyer was slow to begin.
Our Kite Flyer lost ground turning into the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
