Steward's Report
Rapidfire Forest – Late scratching at 2.39pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a spike wound to the left fore toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Uncle Rosco underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have tail injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Break Ranks underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a pencil and quadricep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Gary Webb regarding Break Ranks' racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Break Ranks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Gary Webb pled guilty to the charge, Break Ranks was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
