Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Club Officials Miss A. Delaney and Miss J. Wellins did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Heidi Hook was quick to begin. Path Of Glory was slow to begin.
Agent Chevrolet raced ungenerous turning into the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right-hind triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Luke Whelan regarding the racing manners of Agent Chevrolet. After hearing submissions from Mr. Whelan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
Platinum Bow underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to the pad on the right-hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it suitable for racing.
