Ulna, Simply Savage and Deadly Ambition were slow to begin. 

Inter Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest and left shoulder muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Interligi regarding the racing manners of Inter Barty approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Interligi, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Pursuant to GAR 75(7) Steward, Ms Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Redeeming Lilly underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to it's frequency of racing - no apparent injury was reported.

Redgum Flyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind webbing. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Gippsland Boy was slow to begin. 

Zero and Staines were quick to begin.

Pure Promise faltered soon after the start, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lower back injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Staines lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Sadio - the winner of the event.

Mr Peter Reinders was reminded of his responsibilities for failing to follow the starter's orders when boxing Sonic Shockwave, pursuant to GAR 105.

Stewards with-held the All Clear in order to review the positioning of the lure over the concluding stages of the race; in the vicinity of the 75m-50m mark to approaching the finishing line, with reference to the provisions of GAR 109 (1). After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that the outcome of the event was unaffected by the positioning of the lure. Therefore, pursuant to GAR 109 (3), the event was declared to be a ‘No Race’. All betting is to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and does not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhound’s next start. The event was then abandoned in accordance with GAR 111, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds which competed in the No-Race.

The Lure Driver was reminded of his responsibility to ensure the lure is maintained between 5-8m in front of the leading greyhound pursuant to GAR 109 (1). This matter was referred to the relevent manager for further consideration and remediation.
