Steward's Report
Downstream, Octavia Bale and Zivon Bale were quick to begin. Rico Eclipse was slow to begin.
Boo Boo Billy (turned it's head inwards and made muzzle contact with other runner in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder muscle and left pencil muscle injuries. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Martina Kirillidis regarding Boo Boo Billy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Boo Boo Billy was charged with marring. Ms. Kirillidis pled not guilty to the charge, Boo Boo Billy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Weblec Scout - the winner of the event.
