Steward's Report
Cruising Through – Late scratching at 7:38am when Ms D.Johnston reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Rock Me Rocco and Blazin' Master were slow to begin.
Blazin' Master (marred the running of Elite Alex), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Representative Ms A.Langton regarding Blazin' Master’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Blazin' Master was charged with marring. Ms Langton pled guilty to the charge, Blazin' Master was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at today’s track and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Elite Alex – the winner of the event.
