Hot Cross and Fun Idol were slow to begin. Superior Tom went up with the lids and was slow to begin. 

Aeroplane Cooper – Late scratching at 10.53am by order of the Stewards. Stewards interviewed Mr. Taylor Thornton, the representative of Aeroplane Cooper in relation to the bona fides of the identification of the greyhound. Upon inspection of the greyhound, stewards couldn't be comfortably satisfied of the identity of the greyhound pursuant to GAR 78 (1)(e)(ii). Acting in accordance with GAR 78(3), no further nomination will be accepted until the stewards are satisfied that the basis upon which the scratching was made no longer exists. 

Malt Whiskey was slow to begin.

My Vasiliki, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the right sartorius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. G. Kantzidis regarding My Vasiliki's performance and racing manners approaching the 50m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr Kantzidis, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 50m mark.

There were no reportable incidents in the event.

Brett Mackie failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Top Faith for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).

Stewards spoke to Mr. Ian Beattie regarding the boxing manners of Blackpool Astro. After hearing submissions from Mr. Ian Beattie, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s boxing manners.

Naga Viper and Top Faith were quick to begin. 

Slingshot Reaper faltered approaching the 150m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination, and was found to have a tarsal fracture on the right hindleg. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track between the 200-150m and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Reiko Oreo and Ratified were slow to begin. 

A post-race sample was taken from Diamond Socks - unplaced in the event. 

Benchester was quick to begin. 

Hello George faltered approaching the 200m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis muscle and right sartorius muscle injuries. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Scorcher was quick to begin. 

The official times for the The Arrow events were determined with the use of the judge's photo finish system, not the on-track timing beams.

Jolly Roger was a late scratching at 10.50 by order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At a subsequent inquiry, the Stewards charged Mr W. Boreland with a breach of GAR 86 for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event. Mr Boreland was found guilty of the charge and was fined $250. The 28 days stand–down on Jolly Roger was revoked.

Aston Sadio and Ohana Brockie were slow to begin. 

Lipinski Pie underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right sartorius muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

There were no reportable incidents in the event.

Tommy's No Angel – Late scratching at 10.53 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
