A pre-race sample was taken from Triumph.
Rag Time Rove faltered on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left hock and right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Extreme Harriett visibly eased approaching the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination as was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Debbie Selleck regarding Extreme Harriett’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Extreme Harriet was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Selleck pled guilty to the charge, Extreme Harriet was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
