Steward's Report
Alicah was quick to begin.
Alicah underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4, Alicah was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a left pencil muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr J. Gorgioski regarding the greyhound's racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Alicah was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Trainer Mr. Gorgioski pled not guilty to the charge, Alicah was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
