Steward's Report
Internal Affairs was slow to begin.
My Obsession underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a laceration to the right hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Matthew Lanigan regarding the racing manners of My Obsession soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Mr Lannigan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
