Hold On Love was slow to begin.

Lacey Intention marred Evie Jean in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Todd O'Neill regarding Lacey Intention’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Lacey Intention was charged with marring. Mr O'Neill pled guilty to the charge, Lacey Intention was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
