Steward's Report

Hovey's Bourbon was quick to begin. Black Eyed Peas was slow to begin.

Hovey's Bourbon Stewards spoke to Taylor Thornton, the representative of Hovey's Bourbon after the greyhound underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Hovey's Bourbon is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a satisfactory trial is completed, pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42 (3) Hovey's Bourbon, is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
