Steward's Report
All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Shanky's Pony and Shadow Giblet were slow to begin.
Star Reign crossed to the inside on the first turn checking Emerald Lake and Star Reign and severely checking Mumma's Meatball and Mystic Ebony causing Mystic Ebony to fall as a result. Shank's Pony and Emerald Lake collided on the home turn.
Mystic Ebony underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
A post-race sample was taken from Shank's Pony - winner of the event.
