King Kaboom was slow to begin.
King Kaboom crossed to the rail soon after the start. Mt. View Ivy and Hurricane Keely collided approaching the first turn. Miss Angel Di galloped on the heels of Mt. View Ivy approaching the first turn checking Miss Angel Di and severely checking Mt. View Ivy and King Kaboom. Legasov Bale and Moon Sister collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and both raced wide as a result. Hurricane Keely raced wide on the first turn. Miss Angel Di and Legasov Bale collided on the home turn.
