Oldina Patsy and Huntly Hoon were quick to begin.  Rock The Planet was slow to begin. 

Urana Frankie checked off Oldina Patsy on the first turn causing Urana Frankie to collide with Huntly Hoon severely checking Urana Frankie, Magic Luke, Huntly Hoon and Echo Chamber, Urana Frankie fell as a result.  Final Shuffle and Mt. View Bro collided on the first turn.    

Urana Frankie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left wrist and right hind foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tigers On Fire crossed out approaching the first turn checking Tigers On Fire and Under His Spell.  Winlock At Large galloped on Mystical Zendik on the first turn severely checking Winlock At Large, Mystical Zendik, checking Anita's Special.  Inga Meg and Go Saints Go collided on the home turn.  Mystical Zendik and Under His Spell severely checking both greyhounds.

Blue Tick Erin was quick to begin.  Claretown Dermot was slow to begin.

Sagarmatha and Miss Button collided on the first turn checking Sagarmatha.  Revved Up Sal crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Knox.  Demon Sal and Saw Blaze collided on the first turn.  Claretown Dermot and Demon Sal collided on the home turn.

Zipping Chuck checked off Blackpool Cruz soon after the start.  Antique Elsa checked off Zipping Chuck soon after the start.  Shango Run and Aston Kayee collided on the first turn causing Aston Kayee to fall, checking Zipping Chuck.  Blackpool Cruz crossed in on the home turn.  Antique Elsa checked off Blackpool Cruz on the home turn.

Aston Kayee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed,

Mighty Tracey underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apprent injury was reported.

Hurricane Keely and Half A Double were quick to begin.  Rag Time Griff was slow to begin.

Barnaby Blitz and Very Odd were slow to begin. 

Very Odd and Bully Bar collided approaching the first turn checking Bully Bar.  Very Odd and Prince Nangana collided on the first turn.  Prince Nangana checked off Bully Bar on the second turn.

Parumba Barcia and Powder Burn collided approaching the first turn severely checking Powder Burn.  Witchie's Gas checked off Violation on the first turn.  Witchie's Gas checked off Chill Out Dusty on the home turn.  Witchie's Gas and Urana Vieri collided entering the home straight severely checking Urana Vieri.  Violation and Parumba Barcia collided approaching the winning post. 

Mt. View Shark – New declared weight of 24.5kg, last raced at 23.3kg.

Freckles Brown and Silver Ambition collided soon after the start.  Breakaway Benji and Silver Ambition collided on the first turn.  Elusive Bec galloped on Eilish's Dream on the first turn checking Elusive Bec, Eilish's Dream, Freckles Brown, Breakaway Benji and severely checking Panadero Grace.  Eilish's Dream and Freckles Brown collided on the home turn checking Eilish's Dream.  Elusive Bec and Freckles Brown collided in the home straight.  Breakaway Benji raced wide in the home straight.  

Knuckles – Late scratching at 2:51pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr G. Bartlett was fined $100.

Esther Bale was quick to begin.

Why Not Dan and Speedy Lemon collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Aston Guilder turned its head inwards and marred Why Not Dan in the home straight.

Aston Guilder underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Simon Mallia, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aston Guilder was charged with marring.  Mr. Mallia pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Guilder was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
