Steward's Report
Pyrenees Alpha and Fairytale Bliss collided approaching the first turnchecking Fairytale Bliss. Tumbarumba Time and Blackjack Cougar collided entering the home straight severely checking Blackjack Cougar and checking Pyrenees Alpha and Tumbarumba Time. Tumbarumba Time marred Pyrenees Alpha in the home straight. Tumbarumba Time visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Tumbarumba Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Ian Beattie, the trainer of Tumbarumba Time regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tumbarumba Time was charged with marring. Mr. Beattie pleaded guilty to the charge, Tumbarumba Time was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
