A pre-race sample was taken from Dundee Zircon.
Big City Nights and Celtic Deed collided soon after the start severely checking Celtic Deed. Zipping Gomez and Zurial Bale collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Zipping Gomez and Celtic Deed raced wide in the back straight.
Inter Vince underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
