Steward's Report
Naha went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Riccarton Weaver and Especial Elise collided soon after the start checking Especial Elise. Riccarton Weaver and Especial Echo collided on the first turn checking Especial Echo. Especial Echo and Our Flying Bolt collided in the home straight.
Especial Elise underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle and right triangle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
