Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A pre-race sample was taken from Moriah Bale.

Moriah Bale was quick to begin.  Smokey Cape was slow to begin.

Moriah Bale, Enemy Within, Gypsy Toowoomba, Alfie Moon and Cabernet Girl collided in the front straight checking Enemy Within, Gypsy Toowoomba, Alfie Moon and Gypsy Urana.  Emeny Within and Gypsy Toowoomba collided approaching the first turn causing Gypsy Toowoomba to fall.  Moriah Bale checked off Cabernet Girl on the first turn.  Alfie Moon, Gypsy Urana and Smokey Cape collided on the first turn.  Moriah Bale and Enemy Within collided on the first turn.  Smokey Cape and Moriah Bale collided on the second turn.  Zippy Volkswagon and Cabernet Girl collided on the home turn checking Cabernet Girl, Alfie Moon and Gypsy Urana.  

Gypsy Toowoomba underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind leg.  No stand down period wws imposed.

Slick Sister, Hamillson, Lillico Nikki, Bella Mia Rocks and Mepunga Legend collided soon after the start checking all five greyhounds.  Western Blazer and Quest For More collided soon after the start.  Quest For More, Western Blazer and Hamillson collided soon after the start.  Slick Sister, Bella Mia Rocks and Lillico Nikki collided approaching the first turn.  Bella Mia Rocks and Slick Sister collided on the first turn.  Western Blazer and Quest For More collided on the first turn checking Western Blazer.  Bella Mia Rocks, Quest For More and Lillico Nikki collided on the second turn checking Lillico Nikki and Slick Sister.  Bella Mia Rocks checked off Slick Sister on the third turn.  Western Blazer checked off Mepunga Legend approaching the home turn.  Slick Sister and Lillico Nikki collided on the home turn checking Lillico Nikki.  

Hamillson – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the box first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Crackerjack Lach - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr P. Hammerstein, his comments were noted.

Going Alright and Vayda Bale were quick to begin.

Spring Driven checked off Vayda Bale soon after the start and collided with Crackerjack Lach.  Crackerjack Lach and Gypsy Vista collided soon after the start.  Aston Amigo and Spring Driven collided in the front straight checking Spring Driven.  Weblec Blazer galloped on Ivy Isobel in the back straight.  Aston Amigo and Ivy Isobel collided approaching the home turn.  

Crackerjack Lach – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bobby The Brute.

Lunar Star and Gypsy Wyong collided approaching the first turn checking Lunar Star.  Drako Bale, Kenny The Brute, Bobby The Brute and Gypsy Wyong collided on the first turn checking Bobby The Brute and Kenny The Brute.  Lunar Star raced wide entering the front straight and in the front straight. 

Run Baba Run - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr J. Galea, his comments were noted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lakeview Cruiser.  

Junk Food Junkie was quick to begin.

So Hazy, Rocket Boy, Run Baba Run and Denise's Vision collided soon after the start checking So Hazy, Rocket Boy, Run Baba Run, Denise's Vision and Lakeview Cruiser.  Run Baba Run galloped on Rocket Boy on the first turn.  Nihari Bale checked off Black Robin on the third turn.  

Run Baba Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury and a laceration to the left hind tibial region.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mirror Illusion.

Mepunga Warrior and Aston Oriental collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dark Arrow and Sunnyside Pride raced wide in the front straight.

An out of competition sample was taken from Candy Carrera on 15 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fairytale Wish.

Aston Ulysses was slow to begin.

Aston Ulysses, Yeah Easy, Plan Ahead, Dundee Ember and Untapped collided on the first turn checking all five greyhounds to varying degrees.  Fairytale Wish faltered on the second turn and failed to finish the event.  Yahoo Serious checked off Fairytale Wish approaching the third turn.  Yeah Easy clipped the heels of Yahoo Serious on the fourth turn checking Yahoo Serious.

Following the running of this event, the track was inspected on the first and second turns and deemed satisfactory for racing.

Fairytale Wish underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Dundee Ember underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have toe injuries to the left front and hind and the right front and an abrasion to the left front leg.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Earn The Answers.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes when Usman Bale was required to be taped on both hocks behind the starting boxes.

Invictus Rising, Xavien Bale and Shantelle Rose were quick to begin.  Spring Cobra, Usman Bale and Nikoli Bale were slow to begin.

Fabriola Ximenez - Subsequent to the meeting the kennel reported that the greyhound was not its normal self for a few days following the race, however no noticeable injury found. The kennel will continue with its preparation.
