Ava's Journey was slow to begin.

Chill Out Berty and Mr. Ten Percent collided soon after the start checking Mr. Ten Percent. Loch Terrace, Reiko Shock and Reiko Bingle collided soon after the start. Ava's Journey and Mr. Ten Percent collided on the first turn checking Ava's Journey. Ava's Journey and Mr. Ten Percent collided approaching the home turn. Hurricane Ace and Loch Terrace collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Chill Out Berty turned it's head outwards towards Affair Fantasy several times on the home turn and in the home stright checking both greyhounds.

Chill Out Berty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 5. It was found Chill Out Berty sustained a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mr. Josh Duncan regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Chill Out Berty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, Chill Out Berty was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race urine sample was unable to be obtained, a blood sample was subsequently taken from Reiko Bingle - winner of the event.

Rupert's Boy was slow to begin.

Can I Rock and Global Jewel collided soon after the start checking Global Jewel. Huntly Flyer and Boom Buster collided on the first turn severely checking Boom Buster. Stella's Memory and Global Jewel collided approaching the home turn. Global Jewel and Rupert's Boy collided approaching the home turn.

Sagarmantha and Tommy Cawbourne were slow to begin.

Miss Molly May and Ava's Prediction collided soon after the start checking Miss Molly May. Sagarmantha, Ava's Prediction, Frainy's Well, Reiko Haze and Mystic Muse collided on the first turn checking Ava's Prediction and Reiko Haze. Miss Molly May and Mystic Muse collided approaching the winning post.

Sadie Rose and Trending Wave collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Little Winnie contacted the running rail approaching the home turn severely checking Little Winnie which collided with Trending Wave. Little Winnie, Trending Wave and Clover Kisses collided on the home turn. Sadie Rose and Double Up collided several times in the home straight.

Little Winnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left fore toes. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Zurial Bale and Prince Archer were slow to begin.

Brizo and Ice Ghost collided on the first turn checking Brizo.

Where's Lesley and Speed Limit collided on the first turn checking Speed Limit. Speed Limit checked off Our Girl Bailee approaching the second turn.

Crown Jimmy – Late scratching at 8:35am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr. Benjamin Pell informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr. Pell that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Barwidgi with Mr. Luke Harris and noted their comments.

Zipping Celeste was slow to begin.

Miss Tickle and Chanko Girl collided soon after the start checking Chanko Girl. Gypsy Andy, Barwidgi and Miss Tickle collided approaching the first turn. Barwidgi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
