Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Little Leo and Twilight Blaze collided at box rise. Motor Head Moe and Inky's Fireball were quick to begin. Little Leo and Twilight Blaze collided shortly after the start. All Inn Velvet, Motor Head Moe, Stylish Ken and Inky's Fireball collided approaching the first turn checking Stylish Ken, All Inn Velvet and Inky's Fireball. Motor Head Moe and Twilight Blaze collided on the first turn checking Motor Head Moe. Stylish Ken and All Inn Velvet collided approaching the home turn severely checking Stylish Ken which fell as a result. Motor Head Moe and All Inn Steffi collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. All Inn Velvet and Little Leo collided in the home straight checking All Inn Velvet. 

Stylish Ken underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Frank Meyer regarding the racing manners of Little Leo soon after the start.  After hearing evidence from Mr Meyer, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.

A post-race sample was taken from Ripper Reiko - the winner of the event.

Coastal Edge – Late scratching at 1:36pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Andrew Symons was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kid Tullamore.

Moira Rose and Queen Charisma were slow to begin. Kid Tullamore and Trending Wave collided approaching the first turn checking Kid Tullamore. Trending Wave and Queen Charisma collided on the home turn checking Queen Charisma. Sonny Cabang, Kiarni Connor and Kalkari collided on the home turn checking Kiarni Connor and Kalkari. Sonny Cabang turned its head outwards, shifted outwards and marred Kalkari in the home straight.

Sonny Cabang underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Greg Berry, the trainer of Sonny Cabang regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Sonny Cabang was charged with marring. Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Sonny Cabang was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mcivor Jack – Late scratching at 2:20pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Feisty Nikita.

Tuscan Style was slow to begin. Sadie Rose was very slow to begin, 3 lengths. Wicked One and Warrior Soldier collided approaching the first turn. Feisty Nikita and Short Deuce collided on the first turn checking Short Deuce. Wicked One, Short Deuce and Dark Krystal collided approaching the home turn checking Short Deuce and Wicked One. Wicked One and Sadie Rose collided on the home turn. Warrior Soldier and Dark Krystal collided on the home turn.

Urana Fernando was quick to begin.

Ship Of Fools was slow to begin.

Meehan Ziggy and Dundas Houdini collided approaching the first turn. Meehan Ziggy, Dundas Houdini and Red Taltarni collided on the first turn checking Meehan Ziggy.

Mcivor Specks and Trending River collided on the first turn checking Mcivor Specks. Majestic Stella, One Hombre and Johnny Fatboy collided entering the back straight. Eileen Jay, Roxy Quaker and Berringa Blue collided on the first turn checking Roxy Quaker. Eileen Jay, Berringa Blue, Star Of Jasmine and Mcivor Jill collided on the first turn checking Berringa Blue, Star Of Jasmine and Mcivor Jill. Roxy Quaker and All Inn Toffee collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Resurrection.

Resurrection, Trickster Cabang and Lala Juniper collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Emergency, Litigator and Rezzie's Shout collided approaching the winning post checking Litigator and Rezzie's Shout.

Lala Juniper underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Under the obligations of GAR 75, trainer Donna Knight reported the following day that the greyhound was showing signs of soreness in its right hind hip and would be give a short break from racing.

Pontiac Bandit underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Exclusively Mine, Arlington, Mac Zephyr, Mcivor Bluey and Sensational collided approaching the first turn checking Arlington, Mcivor Bluey and Sensational. Arlington and Sensational collided on the home turn. Arlington and Sensational collided in the home straight checking Sensational.

Wisdom, Our Flying Bolt, Gypsy Andy and See Me Bespoked collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Lala Hibiscus and See Me Bespoked collided on the home turn.

Pete Cabang and Southwood Ace collided on the first turn checking Pete Cabang, Southwood Ace, Pure Promise and Way Up North.
