Lamont Bale and Dr. Macie collided on the second turn. Cousin's Ace and Bonnie Too Good collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.

Cousin's Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the foot of the left foreleg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B. Nye regarding the racing manners of the greyhound on the third turn.  After considering evidence from Mr Nye, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Defensible, Zipping Rafferty, Weblec Star, Affair Bit, Rufus Scrimgeour and Zylon Bale collided soon after the start checking Zipping Rafferty and Weblec Star. Defensible and Zipping Rafferty collided approaching the first turn causing Zipping Rafferty to brush the running rail and lose ground. Paddy Wants Pats and Javen Bale collided on the first turn. Affair Bit and Rufus Scrimgeour collided on the first turn. Defensible checked off Rufus Scrimgeour approaching the second turn. Unathi Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
