Steward's Report
Bumpy's Dad Roy – Late scratching at 4.03pm on 16 April when Trainer, Gary Cowcher, reported the greyhound to have a back muscle injury(GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Blazing Nenna, which faltered and tailed off on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported the greyhound sustained a right metatarsal fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
