Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Have A Summer.

Have A Summer was slow to begin. Prabaker was checked off Rizzo approaching the first turn. Prabaker, Prize Diamond, East Street, Aston Nino and Jenny Kay Rose collided on the first turn checking East Street. Aston Nino galloped on Prabaker on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Prabaker and Jenny Kay Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Prabaker.

Prabaker underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey, the representative for Aston Nino and issued a warning regarding the greyhound’s box manners.
