Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pass It On.
Pass It On, Aston Resort and Legasov Bale were slow to begin.
Pass It On, Coterie, Busy Time and Legasov Bale collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Jayla Strike checked off Fireweed on the first turn. Pass It On turned its head outwards approaching the second turn.
Pass It On underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Johnson, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Pass It On was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Johnson pleaded guilty to the charge, Pass It On was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
