Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Freda.
Sharni's My Girl beganawkwardly. Sovereign Wind and All Inn Dungee collided entering the back straight checking Talbingo Bale. Talbingo Bale shifted out on the home turn and marred Sovereign Wind severely checking both greyhounds.
Talbingo Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Talbingo Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Talbingo Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
