All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Smoking Sophie was quick to begin.  Cranky Bruce and Bear Lee Bandit were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Mystery Flame was slow to begin.

Atlas Alibi and Cheap Shot collided soon after the start. Johnny Collar and Silver Jett collided soon after the start.  My Name's Joe and Johnny Collar collided soon after the start.  Atlas Alibi crossed out soon after the start checking Mid Point.  Silver Jett and Emma's Double collided at the 250m mark.  Mid Point and Cheap Shot collided several times from the 200m mark to the 100m mark checking Cheap Shot and severely checking Mid Point.  Mystery Flame and Johnny Collar collided at the 100m mark. 

Tzar's Ghost was slow to begin.

Bennison Belle, Star Ability and Lord Maxie collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark checking all three greyhounds.  Lord Maxie crossed in checking Tzar's Ghost at the 275m mark.  Tzar's Ghost crossed out at the 175m mark.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Dewana Fair Go on 30 November 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Havilah Kid, Kroos, Dewana Fair Go and Sole Elusion collided soon after the start checking Havilah Kid, Kroos and Dewana Fair Go.  Toyed raced wide throughout the event.

A post-race sample was taken from Invictus Sybil - winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Royal Collinda.

Royal Collinda and Smiling Spaniard were slow to begin.

Smiling Spaniard crossed in soon after the start colliding with Invictus Louie, causing Invictus Louie to collide with Inter Clem checking all three greyhounds.  Inter Clem, Invictus Louie and Royal Collinda collided at the 300m mark.  Inter Clem and Invictus Louie collided at the 150m mark and again at the 125m mark checking both greyhounds.  

Oakvale Cruiser was slow to begin.

Miss Martina, Oakvale Cruiser and Whizbang Alice collided soon after the start.  Miss Martina crossed out soon after the start.  

A post-race sample was taken from Senor Senor - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Giddings regarding the racing manners of Oakvale Crusier approaching the 50m mark.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Giddings, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Chase The Magic was slow to begin.

Vinny Can Gogh and Man Cave collided soon after the start.  Chase The Magic crossed out at the 300m mark.  Chase The Magic and Irongate collided approaching the 250m mark.  Percy's Princess visibly eased and turned its head inwards approaching the winning post.

Percy's Princess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Matthew Marshall regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Percy's Princess was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Marshall pleaded guilty to the charge. Percy's Princess must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Following the event Blair's Tulip displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS).  As a result, the greyhound underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria.  A 14 day stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Giddings.  After hearing submissions, the Stewards acted in accordance with GAR 74 and Blair's Tulip must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, plus a veterinary clearance of fitness before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vinny Can Gogh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blackpool Astro.

Go Quantum and Tiger Time collided soon after the start.  Tiger Time and Paint Peeler collided soon after the start checking Paint Peeler. 

All Inn Olivia began awkwardly and was slow to begin.

All Inn Olivia crossed out soon after the start.  Gusson and Bruree Town collided at the 250m mark.

All Inn Olivia underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Wayne Bocquet, regarding the greyhound's overall performance.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Bocquet to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Inn All Olivia in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Fab Six on 21 December 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hacker.

Meatball Soup was quick to begin.  Keybow Sally began awkwardly and was slow to begin.

Keybow Sally, St. Marys Panda and Fab Six collided soon after the start.  St. Marys Panda crossed out at the 250m mark.  St. Marys Panda, Meatball Soup and Hacker collided at the 150m mark checking St. Marys Panda, Hacker and severely checking Meatball Soup which stumbled.  

Meatball Soup underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing to the right front foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Trainer, Mr. Kenneth Kubik was fined $50.00 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Benky Sid pursuant to GAR 33(4).

Balts Orson and Click And Win were slow to begin.

Star Gazers faltered at the 50m mark and lost ground. Star Gazers and Orson Franky collided approaching the winning post.

Star Gazers underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

The start was delayed by approximately 3 minute due to a greyhound from a previous race requiring veterinary attention.

La La Lucky and Deadly Express collided soon after the start.  Winklee Sprite and Flash Opal collided approaching the winning post.
