Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Travelling Sands.
Stride For Pride and Awesome Asset collided soon after the start. Stride For Pride faltered at the 200m mark and lost ground. Aston Camille and Travelling Sands collided at the 50m mark.
Stride For Pride underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. J. Mangion and directed a veterinary certificate of clearance be required before any future nomination will be accepted.
