Sweet Life, Lillico Nikki and Desley were quick to begin.  Rapid Voyage and Calix Bale were slow to begin.

Sweet Life, Lillico Nikki and Desley collided soon after the start checking Lillico Nikki.  Dundee Velvet, Desley, Lillico Nikki and Night Patrol collided approaching the first turn.  Desley and Calix Bale collided on the first turn checking Calix Bale.  Night Patrol and Desley collided approaching the third turn.  Rapid Voyage and Night Patrol collided on the third turn checking Night Patrol.  

Calix Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front fractured toe.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Sharni's My Girl, Arlington and Aston Sunset were quick to begin.

Quarter Bale and Aston Sunset collided on the first turn.  Vardan Bale and Quincee Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Sharni's My Girl checked off Quarter Bale on the third turn.  

Got The Torque, Arizona Eyes and Paua Of Oscar were slow to begin.

Zivon Bale checked off Jezza Bence soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Paua Of Oscar checked off Got The Torque approaching the second turn.  Maelynn Bale checked off Junk Food Junkie on the second turn.  Zivon Bale and Paua Of Oscar collided entering the back straight.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Russian Sub.

Boston Garden, Russian Sub and Nikoli Bale were slow to begin.

Big Wings, Belle Ali, Boston Garden, Russian Sub and Nikoli Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Big Wings, Russian Sub and Nikoli Bale.

A post-race sample was taken from Xavien Bale - winner of the event.  

Aston Titan was quick to begin.  Mr. Neo and Dr. Tucker were slow to begin.

Dr. Tucker and Paddy Wants Pats collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. 

Dr. Tucker underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Nimble Blaze.

Do Good Davlin and Trending Rookie collided on the first turn.  Call Me Buster, Well Grounded, Shima Glow and Flying Foxy collided on the first turn.  Well Grounded and Shima Glow collided entering the front straight.  Call Me Buster raced wide in the home straight. 

McCooly's Lad was quick to begin.  Fabriola Ximenez was slow to begin.

Just Augusta, Thylacine and Big Gordy collided on the first turn.  Moraine Hayley checked off Just Augusta approaching the second turn.  Fabriola Ximenez checked off Just Augusta on the second turn colliding with Moraine Hayley and Big Gordy severely checking both greyhounds.  Thylacine checked off Just Augusta in the back straight.  Moraine Hayley, Thylacine and Big Gordy collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from McCooly's Lad - winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Suntory Rose.

Suntory Rose and What Could Be were quick to begin.

Kenny The Brute, Dundee Ember and Aston Alpha collided soon after the start checking Dundee Ember.  What Could Be raced wide approaching the second turn causing Venus Light and Twisted Reality to also shift out wide and check. Twisted Reality checked off Aston Alpha entering the back straight.  Kenny The Brute faltered entering the back straight and lost ground.  Aston Alpha checked off Kenny The Brute in the back straight and collided with Twisted Reality.  Call Me Chloe and What Could Be collided on the home turn checking Call Me Chloe.  Dundee Ember and Venus Light collided in the home straight.  

Kenny The Brute underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track from the fourth turn into the back straight and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Parzival and High End were quick to begin.

She's So Kind and Compton Redeemer collided soon after the start checking Compton Redeemer.  Compton Redeemer and Crispy Duck collided on the first turn checking Compton Redeemer.  Nine Nine raced wide on the third turn and on the home turn.

Compton Redeemer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Arizona Gold.

Havilah Kid crossed in at the start checking Zipping Heat.  Willow Ash, Arizona Gold and Mepunga Grace collided in the front straight checking all three greyhounds.  Slingshot Mia checked off Havilah Kid approaching the first turn.  

Aussie Legend was slow to begin.

Hurry Harry and Zing On collided approaching the first turn.  Zing On raced wide on the first turn.  

Wizardry Magic and Zipping Chandler collided soon after the start.  Why Not Lilah and Bowie collided approaching the first turn.  Joffa's Liberty and Bourne Burner collided on the first turn.  Bourne Burner and Zipping Chandler collided on the first turn.  Joffa's Liberty and Why Not Lilah collided approaching the home turn.
