Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lethal Vision.
The start of this event was delayed approximately 30 seconds due to operational procedures.
Vesna Spolly and Explodes To Burn collided approaching the 150m mark. Lethal Vision and Vesna Spolly collided at the 100m mark. Explodes To Burn turned its head inwards at the 50m mark.
Explodes To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Terry Meyer regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Explodes To Burn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge, Explodes To Burn was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
