Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant, Miss Laura Barnes did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Aston Remi and Maddingly Magic collided on the first turn checking Maddingly Magic. Horizon Princess and Silky Rose collided entering the back straight. Maddingly Magic and Horizon Princess collided entering the home straight. Ishmy Ruby visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Ishmy Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12. Ishmy Ruby was found to have a a right deltid injury and a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Kenneth Doidge regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Ishmy Ruby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Doidge pleaded guilty to the charge, Ishmy Ruby was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
