Steward's Report
Miss Rose Water was slow to begin.
Tower Bell and Lord Maxie collided soon after the start. Bootleg Road, All Fear and Miss Rose Water collided soon after the start. Tower Bell, Bootleg Road, All Fear, Miss Rose Water and Country Snow collided soon after the start severely checking All Fear. Miss Rose Water and Lord Maxie collided at the 200m mark. No Marjen crossed out at the 100m mark. No Marjen turned its head to the outside and collided with Tower Bell approaching the winning post.
No Marjen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock sprain and a left back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr C Knott, the representative of No Marjen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) No Marjen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr C Knott pleaded not guilty to the charge, No Marjen was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
