A pre-race sample was taken from Kamara Bale.
Esava was slow to begin.
Kamara Bale checked off Esava approaching the first turn. His Got Tow, Corn And Caviar and Just A Minute collided on the first turn checking Corn And Caviar and Just A Minute. Corn And Caviar faltered on the second turn and subsequently pulled up as a result.
Corn And Caviar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
