Steward's Report
The start time for this race was amended from 5:42pm to 5:46pm due to Orange Thoroughbreeds being postponed.
Due to a technical malfunction with the 425m starting boxes this event was hand started.
Zipping Demi and Kanji Kilo collided soon after the start checking Kanji Kilo. Zipping Demi, Birdbrook and Kanji Kilo collided approaching the first turn. Forrest Elbow, Sinful Sid and Misty Rainbow collided on the first turn. Kanji Kilo and Birdbrook collided on the first turn. Sinful Sid and Forrest Elbow collided approaching the home turn checking Forrest Elbow. Perfect Flossy galloped on the heels of Forrest Elbow approaching the home turn causing Forrest Elbow to fall.
Forrest Elbow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left side of head, left forearm and left tibia. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
