Steward's Report
Blazing Fury – Late scratching at 10:31 am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Steven Collyer was fined $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Who Cry Now.
Another Vendetta and Who Cry Now collided soon after the start. Artic Assassin faltered in the front straight and tailed off as a result. Another Vendetta, Son Of Indy and Blue Stingray collided approaching the first turn, checking Son Of Indy. Blue Stingray checked off Another Vendetta on the third turn.
Artic Assassin underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
