Steward's Report
All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Moraine Izzy was quick to begin. Funky Felix and Tudor Folk were slow to begin.
Wild Aces Agogo and Red Impact collided soon after the start. Funky Felix, Red Impact and Tudor Folk collided on the first turn. Wild Aces Agogo checked off Emerald Hill on the first turn. Wild Aces Agogo checked off Summer Lovin' on the third turn. Summer Lovin', Wild Aces Agogo and Funky Felix collided on the fourth turn; causing Wild Aces Agogo to fall; severely checking Summer Lovin and Tudor Folk.
Summer Lovin' underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
