Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings and observed social distance requirements that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Mr. D. Langley was issued with a warning under GAR 86(o) for negligence after the greyhound, Galloping Debbie was placed in the incorrect kennel post race. Stewards also escalated this matter to the relevant Club officials.

Jebrynah Astra and Pete collided on the first turn.  Pete and Galloping Latte collided on the second turn.  Predator and Night Patrol collided approaching the home turn.  Jebrynah Astra and Pete collided on the home turn.

Dewana Be Lucky, Takeshi Fernando and Canny Moments were slow to begin.

Aztec Blaze was quick to begin.  Magnetic Man was slow to begin.  

Gotham Baron, Indigo and Straight Shooter collided approaching the first turn checking Gotham Baron and Magnetic Man, severely checking Indigo and Straight Shooter.  Invictus Xavier and Gotham Baron collided on the first turn checking Invictus Xavier, severely checking Gotham Baron which contacted the running rail.

Gotham Baron underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left radius.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Indigo underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Bit Of Pepper was quick to begin.  Always Primed and It’s A Tiger were slow to begin.  

Mala Ruby and Moody Girl collided on the first turn.  Mala Ruby was checked off Moody Girl on the first turn.  Cal’s Girl and Mala Ruby collided on the first turn.  Dr. Xander and Moody Girl collided approaching the home turn.

Mala Ruby underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on the left hind toes.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Jazz - Late scratching at 11.54am when Mr. S. Collins reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Delancy Bale was quick to begin.  

Daylen Bale and Dinkydi Asset collided on the first turn.  Dindydi Asset brushed the running rail on the second turn.

Aston Edwin was quick to begin.  Metro Boomin’ was slow to begin.

Naomi Butterfly was quick to begin. 

Aston Lila and No Marjen collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Lila.  Mikado Set and No Marjen collided on the first turn checking Aston Lila, severely checking Mikado Set and Kiss Me Deadly.  Deb’s Wish brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Aston Lila raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Mireya and Rumour Is Fact were slow to begin.  

Roxy Diva crossed to the outside approaching the first turn and collided with Quick Paws, It’s A Drama and On Time Cash, checking It’s A Drama and On Time Cash.   Roxy Diva raced wide on the home turn.  Don’t Start Now galloped on Rumour Is Fact on the home turn severely checking Rumour Is Fact.  It’s A Drama raced wide in the home straight.

Phil’s My Bro and Freya Bale collided soon after the start.  Blue Spot, Hot Hand and Not Guilty collided approaching the first turn checking Moon Sister.  Phil’s My Bro and Blue Spot collided entering the home straight. Not Guilty and Moon Sister raced wide in the home straight.

An out of competition sample was taken from Ginger Meggs on 28/10/21 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Scatterbox - New declared weight of 31.5kg, last raced at 30.4kg.

Kimani - New declared weight of 25.7kg, last raced at 26.8kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Huey’s Dream.

Smokin’ Zag was slow to begin. Scatterbox and Ginger Meggs collided soon after the start checking Ginger Meggs.  Scatterbox, Smokin’ Zag and Opal Dealer collided approaching the first turn checking Opal Dealer, Ginger Meggs and Bubba Jo. Scatterbox and Smokin’ Zag collided on the home turn.  Ginger Meggs raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Ginger Meggs underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. I. Chircop requested an early race endorsement for Opal Dealer.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the On-Track Veterinarian.  Opal Dealer will compete in early races until further notice. 

Satisfactory Trial:

My Oh Fernando - Weight - Solo, Distance 311 metres, Weight 30.7kg, Box 3, Time run 18.10 secs. Cleared all tracks.
