Piper’s My Girl was quick to begin.  Galloping Latte was slow to begin.  Beastly Boy and Balts Galore collided soon after the start.  Darnum Dancer and Goodbye Ben collided soon after the start.  Luna Cruz, Darnum Dancer and Goodbye Ben collided soon after the start checking Darnum Dancer. Balts Galore and Night Patrol collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Balts Galore, Night Patrol and Darnum Dancer to race wide.  Galloping Latte raced wide on the first turn. Night Patrol galloped on Balts Galore entering the back straight checking Balts Galore.  Beastly Boy galloped on Piper’s My Girl approaching the home turn.  Darnum Dancer raced wide on the home turn.  Night Patrol was checked off Piper’s My Girl in the home straight causing Night Patrol and Goodbye Ben to collide.

Balts Galore underwent a post race veterinary examination and was to have a right foreleg sesamoid injury.  A7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zambora Jay was quick to begin.  See Me Balt was slow to begin.  Canny Moments, Patriot Earhart and Albert’s Magic collided soon after the start checking Patriot Earhart.  Canny Moments and Albert’s Magic collided on the first turn checking Albert’s Magic.  Inter Clem and Willow’s Friend collided on the first turn checking Willow’s Friend, causing See Me Balt to race wide.  See Me Balt and Willow’s Friend raced wide in the home straight.

Set Me Free crossed out on the first turn checking Zipping Tula.  Lock Cracker was checked off Our Issues on the first turn.  Lock Cracker and Rogan Bale collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Lock Cracker crossed out on the home turn causing Set Me Free to gallop on Lock Cracker.

Impress Browning underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left fibula or tibia.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Iris underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on the left wrist and left hock.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Coleman and issued him with a severe reprimand regarding his conduct behind the starting boxes pursuant to GAR 86(q).

Rilynn Bale was quick to begin.  Coolant and It’s A Drama collided approaching the first turn. Coolant galloped on Toby Time on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Pride Into Power, Toby Time and Dr. Knuckles collided on the first turn checking Coolant, Dr. Knuckles, Toby Time and Pride Into Power, Toby Time subsequently pulled up.  Roxy Diva and Coolant raced wide in the home straight.

Toby Time underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right elbow and was humanely euthanised.

Aston Sunset was quick to begin.  Celtic Deed lost ground on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.

Celtic Deed underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. O. Fraser, the trainer of Celtic Deed regarding the greyhound’s performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Celtic Deed must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
