Samples were taken from Evanlee and Limit Switch upon arrival at the course.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant, Ms. Maddison Toner did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Bella Mia Rocks was quick to begin. Victory Fire was slow to begin.
Evanlee and Limit Switch collided soon after the start. Big City Nights checked off Limit Switch on the first turn causing Big City Nights to race wide. Bel Air Storm and Limit Switch collided on the first turn. Victory Fire raced wide on the second turn. Bel Air Storm shifted out and raced wide in the back straight. Evanlee and Victory Fire collided approaching the third turn. Bel Air Storm and Victory Fire collided approaching the home turn checking Bel Air Storm. Big City Nights raced wide in the home straight. Bel Air Storm faltered and lost ground in the home straight.
Bel Air Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and an abrasion to the left hind paw. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Bella Mia Rocks - the winner of the event.
Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 86(o) after Ms. Natasha Barnes, handler of Descent, needed to be reminded by Stewards to ensure that she lined the greyhound up with the correct starting box.
