An out of competition sample was taken from Fernando Mick, Koblenz, Lucky Lance and Xavien Bale on 28/10/21 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Lucky Lance was slow to begin.
Fernando Mick contacted the running rail soon after the start. Daph's Ascend, Lots Of Chatter, Jax Bale and Lucky Lance collided approaching the first turn checking Lots Of Chatter. Koblenz, Aston Shine and Lala Kiwi collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Shine. Fernando Mick shifted out and raced wide on the first turn. Daph's Ascend and Jax Bale collided on the second turn. Lots Of Chatter checked off Daph's Ascend approaching the third turn.
Fernando Mick underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Post-race samples were taken from Koblenz (1st), Aston Shine (2nd) and Lala Kiwi (3rd).
