Miss Rhubarb underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Torr regarding the racing manners of Miss Rhubarb on the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Ms Torr, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from War Of Words on Sunday, 3 October 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Kandinsky, Toolong Tiger, Aunty Mary, Lektra Flying, Aston Prince and Rockin' Diamonds collided approaching the first turn; checking all six greyhounds.  Aston Prince galloped on Rockin' Diamonds on the first turn; checking Aston Prince and Aunty Mary; severely checking Rockin' Diamonds and Lektra Flying, which both fell as a result.

Kinlock Blazer underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right foreleg wrist and right foreleg stopper injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative Mr Gerald Lanigan regarding the racing manners of Kinlock Blazer in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Lanigan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
