He Shall Rodger and One Night Only collided soon after the start. Arlington checked off Spring Cobra soon after the start causing Arlington to collide with Going Alright checking Arlington. Fire And Fury and Going Alright collided soon after the start. Going Alright and Spring Cobra collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Going Alright. He Shall Rodger and One Night Only collided approaching the second turn. Spring Cobra contacted the running rail on the second turn. Yohan Bale faltered entering the back straight and took no further part in the event.
Yohan Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
