Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Romina Bale and Jovi Bale collided soon after the start. Tiggerlong Water and Mini Dimmy collided soon after the start. Romina Bale, Jovi Bale, Dutch Impact and Taylen Bale collided approaching the first turn. Go Gigi Go, Adler Bale, Tiggerlong Water and Mini Dimmy collided approaching the first turn checking Mini Dimmy. Jovi Bale checked off the heels of Go Gigi Go on the first turn. Jovi Bale and Dutch Impact collided on the second turn checking Jovi Bale. Dutch Impact and Tiggerlong Water collided in the home straight checking Dutch Impact.

Fabriola Yanis was very slow to begin, 3 lengths.

Rosalind Bale and Utah Bale collided soon after the start. Fabriola Ali, Grace's Shout and Warringah Bale collided soon after the start. Rosalind Bale, Utah Bale, Fabriola Ali, Grace's Shout and Warringah Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Grace's Shout and Warringah Bale. Warringah Bale and Cambria Bale collided on the first turn. Utah Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn. Rosalind Bale and Grace's Shout collided on the first turn and again on the second turn. Grace's Shout and Cambria Bale collided in the back straight checking Grace's Shout. Utah Bale checked off Rosalind Bale on the third turn, Utah Bale continued to lose ground in the concluding stages. Grace's Shout and Cambria Bale collided on the home turn checking Grace's Shout. 

Utah Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Octavia Bale - the winner of the event.

Madam Evie and Fabriola Zero were slow to begin.

Quintessa Bale, Ishmy Neecy, Madam Evie, Fabriola Zero and Original Chicken collided soon after the start checking Ishmy Neecy and Madam Evie. Madam Evie raced awkwardly and shifted wide on the home turn causing Madam Evie to lose ground. Panyam Bale and Ximena Bale collided on the home turn.

Madam Evie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle and deltoid muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Stan Bauer, trainer of Madam Evie advised the Stewards that after today's performance where Madam Evie raced wide for most of the event he would consider nominating the greyhound in the future for Healesville or larger one-turn venues.

Val Ali and Bella Mia Rocks were quick to begin.

Tiggerlong Flyer was very slow to begin, 3 lengths.

Fleetwood Sam checked off Barnsy in the front straight. Barnsy checked off George's Fancy on the first turn. Fleetwood Sam raced wide on the first turn. Tiggerlong Flyer and Barnsy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Chillout Cookie shifted outwards in the home straight checking Bella Mia Rocks. Bitter Twist marred Val Ali in the home straight.

Bitter Twist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left wrist.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr James Shaw, the trainer of Bitter Twist regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Bitter Twist was charged with marring.  Mr Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge and Bitter Twist was suspended for 28 days at The Meadows, and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Little Nellie underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to falling after the winning post - no apparent injury was reported.

Darra Onyx, Aratuza Bale, Thunder Tears and Nikephoros collided on the first turn. Thunder Tears and Nikephoros collided in the front straight checking Nikephoros. Aratuza Bale and Major Giblet collided on the second turn checking Aratuza Bale and Nikephoros. Valeska Bale, Darra Onyx and Thunder Tears collided on the third turn checking Darra Onyx.

Aston Bel Air, Speedy Bella and Code Blue Sue collided on the first turn checking Speedy Bella and Code Blue Sue. Keep It Blue and Lala Ivory collided on the first turn checking Keep It Blue. Dr. Xander and No Payer collided approaching the second turn checking No Payer. Roxy Ouzo checked off Lala Ivory approaching the third turn severely checking Roxy Ouzo. Roxy Ouzo and No Payer collided in the home straight.

Arizona Eyes was slow to begin.

Indy Ghost and Aces Are Trumps collided on the first turn causing Aces Are Trumps to shift out and collided with Zylon Bale checking Aces Are Trumps. Arizona Eyes, Aces Are Trumps and Zylon Bale collided entering the back straight checking Zylon Bale severely checking Aces Are Trumps. Indy Ghost checked off Zylon Bale entering the home straight. Arizona Eyes and Tan Star collided entering the home straight checking Tan Star.

Jet Legger and Snow Onyx collided soon after the start. Viking Junior faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground then steadied and lost ground on the first turn and pulled up in the back straight. Cindy Fuso, Calix Bale and Jet Legger collided approaching the first turn severely checking Cindy Fuso and Jet Legger causing Calix Bale to fall. Jigglypuff, Flying Hercules and Snow Onyx collided on the second turn checking Flying Hercules and Snow Onyx.

Viking Junior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Calix Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left and right triangle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards requested handler Ms Korie-Lee Heinrich to report in the coming days for any further findings which may not have been apparent after the event in accordance with GAR 75(1).

Perfect Colour was quick to begin.

Big Boy Brooke was slow to begin.

Fabriola Ximenez crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Big Boy Brooke checking Big Boy Brooke. Fabriola Ximenez and Kanji Height collided on the first turn checking Kanji Height and causing Big Boy Brooke and Greysynd Shock to race wide.

Trendy Universe underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. 

Lala Missouri was quick to begin.

Titan Blazer and Aston Champagne were slow to begin.

Titan Blazer, Affair Bit, Almapa Sunshine and Aston Champagne collided on the first turn checking Affair Bit and Almapa Sunshine and Aston Champagne. Titan Blazer contacted the running rail on the first turn. Aston Champagne checked off Almapa Sunshine on the second turn causing Aston Champagne to tail off. Gypsy Vista checked off La La Missouri on the home turn.

Aston Champagne underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Ronald Dunne trainer of Aston Champange advised the Stewards that he would take the greyhound for follow up veterinary assessment and would consider it's racing future.

Trendy Universe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the nose.  No stand down period was imposed.

Yalena Bale, Just One Moment and Little Tiger was quick to begin.

I'm Not Budging, Negasi Bale and Paper Plane collided in the front straight checking Negasi Bale and Paper Plane. Yalena Bale, Our Ando and Just One Moment collided on the first turn checking Yalena Bale and Just One Moment, severely checking Our Ando, which collided with Attitude, severely checking Our Ando and causing Attitude to fall. 

Attitude underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
