Steward's Report
Blazing Pop– Late scratching at 03.19am when trainer Mr. Brett Cook reported the greyhound to have a hock abrasion (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards questioned Trainer, Mr B. Cook, regarding the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the late withdrawal of Blazing Pop. Stewards noted Mr Cooks explanation.
Lethal Vision and Blazer Nation collided soon after the start. Orson Franky and Lethal Vision collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Lethal Vision checked off Orson Franky at the 150m mark.
