Charlotte Tulip – Late scratching at 9.47am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Rene Matthyssen was fined $100.

Explodes To Burn was slow to begin.

Mt. View Gem and Evan's Almighty collided soon after the start.  Burgin Beauty and Mrs. Tropicana collided several times from soon after the start to the 150mtr mark.  Mrs. Tropicana checked off Mt. View Gem at the 150mtr mark.  Burgin Beauty and Mrs. Tropicana collided at the 50mtr mark. 

Killshot underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a wound to the left side of the haed.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Inga Wally – Late scratching at 7:18am when Trainer, Kyle Brooks reported the greyhound to have a pad injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mt. View Bro and Ava's Journey were slow to begin.

Texicali Tiger and Oldina Patsy collided soon after the start checking Texicali Tiger.  Ava's Journey crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Mt. View Bro and Cornish Lad collided at the 50mtr mark.  

Finlaystone was slow to begin.

Nitro Roxy faltered soon after the start and subsequently tailed off.  Finlaystone and Maverick Sandy collided at the 150mtr mark.

Nitro Roxy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Junket Jarrod - winner of the event. 

Ishmy Barry – New declared weight of 34.2kg, last raced at 32.9kg.

Crackerjack Tys – New declared weight of 37.4kg, last raced at 35.9kg.

Too Much Talking – New declared weight of 26.7kg, last raced at 25.2kg.

Harston Flare and Ishmy Barry collided soon after the start checking Ishmy Barry which collided with Teaks Streak.  Crackerjack Tys crossed to the outside at the 250mtr mark.  Harston Flare checked off Silver Sky at the 250mtr mark checking Silver Sky.  Harston Flare and Silver Sky collided approaching the 150mtr mark causing Harston Flare to falter.  Now And Then and Crackerjack Tys collided several times from the 100mtr mark to approaching the winning post causing Now And Then to collide with Teaks Streak.  

Hartson Flare underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the right front foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Spin – Late scratching at 6:30am when Trainer, Grant Walker reported the greyhound to have an elevated temperature (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Wicked Missile and Inga Harry collided soon after the start checking Wicked Missile.  Bruree Fairy and Combat Mission collided soon after the start and again at the 300mtr mark causing to Combat Mission to fall.  Ava's Prediction, Jerry Buzzard and Inga Harry collided at the 300mtr mark checking Ava's Prediction and Inga Harry.  Bruree Fairy, Maddingley Magic and Ava's Prediction collided approaching the 250mtr mark checking all three greyhounds.  Bruree Fairy checked off Jerry Buzzard at the 250mtr mark.  Jerry Buzzard marred Bruree Fairy approaching the winning post checking Bruree Fairy.  

Combat Mission underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising/contusion over left shoulder.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Wicked Missile underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. No apparent injury was reported.

Jerry Buzzard underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Tirchett, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jerry Buzzard was charged with marring.  Mr. Tirchett pleaded not guilty to the charge, Jerry Buzzard was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Edmund Dollery regarding the racing manners of Bruree Fairy at the 50mtr mark.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Dollery, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Gazer's Lane and Shazbot collided soon after the start.  Shazbot checked off Blair's Tulip at the 300mtr mark and collided with Kraken Skye.  Gazer's Lane checked off Blair's Tulip at the 300mtr mark.  Gazer's Lane and Shazbot collided approaching the 250mtr mark and again at the 250mtr mark checking Gazer's Lane.  Secret Package, Indy's Dream and Lily Rose Jazz collided approaching the 200mtr mark checking Secret Package.  Lily Rose Jazz and Showboat Capers collided at the 200mtr mark.  Gazer's Lane checked off Lily Rose Jazz approaching the 150mtr mark.  Secret Package and Indy's Dream collided approaching the 100mtr mark.  

Call Me Jade – Late scratching at 10.21am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
