Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Lead The Way on 23rd June pursuant to GAR 139.
A sample was taken from Apache Shout upon arrival at the course.
Apache Shout and Hone Your Skills were slow to begin.
Lead The Way underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. T. Whitford regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Whitford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
